Thwaites - Thwaites - the seventh largest brewer in the United Kingdom - remains a fiercely independent family-controlled company. Timothy Taylor - In 1858 Timothy Taylor began brewing beer in Cook Lane in the West Riding town of Keighley. He clearly struck upon a successful formula for in 1863 he set up and built a larger brewery at Knowle Spring, where the company has remained ever since.

Tipples Brewery - Tipples Brewery is a new micro brewery based in Acle, Norfolk close to the Broads national park and the coast. The beer we brew is real ale, using only the finest malted barley, hops, yeast and water.

Tirril Brewery - In October 1999 the mash tun filled for the first time in a century in Tirril, since J. Siddle's Tirril Brewery had been closed in September 1899.

Toon Ale - Toon Ale is a hand crafted REAL real ale that is not brewed on a large commercial scale, hence only a limited supply of Toon Ale can be brewed at a time. Toon Ale is only available in carefully selected outlets. No preservatives, sugars, additives, chemicals or head retention agents. Just honest natural strong ale.

Topsham and Exminster Brewery - Ferryman is brewed by the Topsham and Exminster Brewery, a small brewery that started production in 2003. The brewery is situated half way between Topsham and Exminster in a former Royal Air Force radar station in the midst of the Exminster Marshes RSPB reserve.

Traquair - The brewery currently produces around 600 - 700 barrels per annum. (200,000 bottles and the remainder draught) Brewing takes place all year round with the exception of August. The brewery expanded its premises in 1993 but continues to ferment its total production in the original oak vessels. At present there is room to increase production by a further 20% but there are no plans to expand beyond this as it is intended to retain brewing in the original style and premises.

Tring Brewery - The brewery brews according to traditional methods using home-grown ingredients, with hops from Kent and Worcester and malted barley from Suffolk. This, combined with Tring's ideal hard water, provides the perfect formula for classic ales.

Twickenham Fine Ales - Crane Brewery - Twickenham Fine Ales opened their Micro Brewery in late October 2004. Situated between Twickenham Green and the Crane River the Crane Brewery has started brewing 20 barrels, roughly 6000 pints, of Cask-Conditioned "Real Ale" per week. The Brewery equipment was purchased from the Springhead Brewery in Nottinghamshire who have expanded to 50 barrel plant. The brewer is Don Weir who used to brew for the Whim brewery in Derbyshire whose ales have won several awards.

Tyne Brewery - Initially owned by John Barras & Co in 1890 it formed one of the major breweries in the amalgamation that lead to the formation of Newcastle Breweries. Its main product was the non-real ale Newcastle Brown. It merged with Scottish Breweries in 1960 to form Scottish & Newcastle Brewery. Now in the ownership of Scottish Courage, this plant again brews real ale brewing most of the output of Theakstons ales.

U Fleku - Czech Republic

Uley Brewery - Brewing at Uley began in 1833 at Price's Brewery. After a long gap, the premises were restored and Uley Brewery opened in 1985. The brewery has its own spring water, which is used to mash with Tuckers Maris Otter malt and boiled with Hereford hops. No sugar or additives are added. Uley serves 40-50 free-trade outlets in the Cotswold area and, says owner Chas Wright, contrary to 'decline in cask ales, we have never been busier!'

Uncle Stuarts Brewery - Uncle Stuart's Brewery started commercial production in April 2002. We produce traditional cask and bottle conditioned real ale's.

Valhalla Brewery - The Valhalla Brewery is found in Unst, Shetland - the most northerly island in Britain. The brewery is named after the hall in the celestial regions, home of the Norse god Odin, where slain Viking warriors were borne, to be revived by a horn full of ale. So there was no better choice of name for the brewery, as Shetland is renowned for its Up-Helly-Aa celebrations and is steeped in Viking history!

Ventnor Brewery - Situated on the Isle of Wight, nestling below the chalky downs of St Boniface you will find Ventnor Brewery. Wadworth - Founded in 1885, Wadworth & Co. Ltd, of Devizes, boasts an enviable tradition in the brewing of fine beers. Many of the original brewing techniques and closely guarded recipes are used to produce a range which includes Wadworth 6X, its flagship premium ale.

WB Brew - In 1995, after a 20 year career in the building trade latterly working on restorations for the National Trust and English Heritage, Helen and Dave Maggs tired of spending time up ladders, wet and cold. An interest in home brewing that took over the kitchen led to the decision to make brewing an occupation, and little did they realise that the life of the micro-brewer entails time spent up ladders, wet and cold!

Weatheroak Ales - The Brewery is a family run and owned business located at the Coach & Horses Inn, Weatheroak Hill, Alvechurch. Beer was first brewed in an outhouse at the pub in January 1998, the brewery was expanded further in 2000 and can now produce up to 12 barrels of beer per week.

Weeping Radish Brewery - Have you ever wondered how fresh, natural beer is made - the authentic German way? Charles Wells - Eagle Brewery in Havelock Street, Bedford gave the company the opportunity to install the most up to date brewing equipment, which is why when our beer leaves this site it is of consistently excellent quality. Bombardier English Premium Bitter and Eagle Bitter are our key ales. We also produce Red Stripe Lager, the Jamaican lager which we brew under licence. Charles Wells also brew the Indian lager Cobra, as well as the Japanese lager Kirin, which is in fact the 12th largest selling beer brand in the world.

Wensleydale Brewery - The brewery is no longer based in the Forester's Arms, Carlton in Coverdale. The new premises are in farm buildings in Bellerby, just six miles from our old location. This move will enable us to increase our capacity to 60 barrels per week, and a larger, more modern bottling plant can be installed.
The move means that we have given up the day-to-day running of the pub and leased out The Forrester's to new tenants. The real ales are still supplied by The Wensleydale Brewery.

White Star Brewery - Our brewery has a 10 barrel brew length with four fermenting vessels, meaning that we can have over eight thousand pints of real ale in production at any one time. Whittington Brewery - Whittingtons is a 'five-barrel' brew plant, which is one of the smaller brewery sizes. A full mash tun method is used to brew our three beers: a 3.6% ABV 'session' ale, a richer 4.2% ABV premium beer and our seasonal pale ale.

Widmer Brothers Brewing Company - Brothers Kurt and Rob Widmer founded Widmer Brothers Brewing Company back in 1984, and have been brewing deliciously authentic European and American style beers ever since.

Windsor Castle Brewery - The Windsor Castle Brewery was opened in 1900 around the corner from the Windsor Castle Inn. The brewery supplying the Tap House and the ten tied houses. Though brewing stopped in 1927 Thomas's son John Caleb Nathaniel (Jack) was brought up in the brew house passing all he knew to John Alexander who is now re-opening the Windsor Castle Brewery in its new location. His son Chris is brewery manager who works to continue the brewing tradition of the Sadler family.

Winters Brewery - DAVID WINTER the twice Champion Brewer of Britain. Brewer of Award Winning Ales for many years at Woodfordes and Chalk Hill Breweries. Now running his own brewery in Norwich.

Wissey Valley Brewery - Wissey Valley Brewery, craft brewers of ales, milds, porters and stouts was formed and opened in July 2003.

Wizard Brewery - Wizard Ales brewery started in March 2003 using a 1.25 Barrel brewplant purchased from Swaled Ale Brewery in Gunnerside, North Yorks.

Wold Top Brewery - The Wold top Brewery is one of Yorkshires newest microbreweries and commenced production in May 2003.

Wolf Brewery - The Wolf Brewery has been established in Norfolk since 1996 and is continuing to go from strength to strength.

Woodfordes - Woodforde's 'Broadland Brewery' is housed in partly thatched farm buildings, situated in the picturesque village of Woodbastwick, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads and some 6 miles to the North East of Norwich.
