commercial scale, hence only a limited supply of Toon Ale can be brewed

Just honest natural strong ale. Topsham and Exminster Brewery - Ferryman is brewed by the Topsham and Exminster Brewery, a small brewery that started production in 2003. The brewery is situated half way between Topsham and Exminster in a former Royal Air Force radar station in the midst of the Exminster Marshes RSPB reserve. Traquair - The brewery currently produces around 600 - 700 barrels per annum. (200,000 bottles and the remainder draught) Brewing takes place all year round with the exception of August. The brewery expanded its premises in 1993 but continues to ferment its total production in the original oak vessels. At present there is room to increase production by a further 20% but there are no plans to expand beyond this as it is intended to retain brewing in the original style and premises. Tring Brewery - The brewery brews according to traditional methods using home-grown ingredients, with hops from Kent and Worcester and malted barley from Suffolk. This, combined with Tring's ideal hard water, provides the perfect formula for classic ales. Twickenham Fine Ales - Crane Brewery - Twickenham Fine Ales opened their Micro Brewery in late October 2004. Situated between Twickenham Green and the Crane River the Crane Brewery has started brewing 20 barrels, roughly 6000 pints, of Cask-Conditioned "Real Ale" per week. The Brewery equipment was purchased from the Springhead Brewery in Nottinghamshire who have expanded to 50 barrel plant. The brewer is Don Weir who used to brew for the Whim brewery in Derbyshire whose ales have won several awards. Tyne Brewery - Initially owned by John Barras & Co in 1890 it formed one of the major breweries in the amalgamation that lead to the formation of Newcastle Breweries. Its main product was the non-real ale Newcastle Brown. It merged with Scottish Breweries in 1960 to form Scottish & Newcastle Brewery. Now in the ownership of Scottish Courage, this plant again brews real ale brewing most of the output of Theakstons ales. U Fleku - Czech Republic
Uley Brewery - Brewing at Uley began in 1833 at Price's Brewery. After a long gap, the premises were restored and Uley Brewery opened in 1985. The brewery has its own spring water, which is used to mash with Tuckers Maris Otter malt and boiled with Hereford hops. No sugar or additives are added. Uley serves 40-50 free-trade outlets in the Cotswold area and, says owner Chas Wright, contrary to 'decline in cask ales, we have never been busier!' Uncle

Valhalla Brewery - The Valhalla Brewery is found in Unst, Shetland - the most northerly island in Britain. The brewery is named after the hall in the celestial regions, home of the Norse god Odin, where slain Viking warriors were borne, to be revived by a horn full of ale. So there was no better choice of name for the brewery, as Shetland is renowned for its Up-Helly-Aa celebrations and is steeped in Viking history!

Brewery - The brewery is no longer based in the Forester's Arms,
Carlton in Coverdale. The new premises are in farm buildings in Bellerby,
just six miles from our old location. This move will enable us to increase
our capacity to 60 barrels per week, and a larger, more modern bottling
